FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When doing design work, I charge $40/hr or a flat fee for certain other types of artwork. When projects are quoted as a flat fee, they are generally calculated based on the time that would be required and estimated as $40/hr. It ends up being about the same price either way. Photo shoots are generally bid depending on how many hours you need for photographing. All photo shoots provide you with all the digital, full resolution photos that are available to download online. You will also be given print release rights to the photos.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When starting a new project, I usually require a 50% down payment before scheduling a photo shoot or design project. I will send a contract agreement and once the down payment has been processed, I will work with you to get the exact photos or designs created to your over satisfaction. Once the project is completed, I will require the remainder of the balance to be paid. I will then send all the final (and original if requested) digital files that you can do whatever you want with. Most people like to pay the entire balance up front with photo shoots, but my most important goal is to work with you and make sure you are happy with how you are being treated.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 5 years experience as a photographer and I work at an advertising agency doing professional design and commercial photography. I have a BFA(Bachelors of Fine Art) Degree with the emphasis in graphic design.
