Lingua Learners

Introduction: We help children achieve fluency in foreign languages using our unique familiar immersion formula. Enroll this summer in our Chinese program for children ages 3 1/2 - 6 years old. This is a 3-hours-per-day-5-days-per-week program for parents interested in something more than just daycare. Our whole goal is to help your child achieve fluency. To achieve fluency, children need consistent, ongoing interactive exposure, particularly in the first few years of language learning. Lingua Learners creates an environment conducive to language learning: 1. Individual attention: No more than 8 students per teacher means your child has numerous opportunities to interact in the language each day. 2. Native-speaking teachers: We hire and train native-speaking teachers only. That means your child will pick up the teacher's accent and native language expressions. This is the best program outside of being born in the country! 3. Familiar Immersion: All language interaction (teaching) is done in context of age-appropriate activities. The children are engaged in fun activities designed to provide and reward oral expression. They can see and observe the language through the activities and are motivated to speak to get what they need or want. 4. Trained teachers: Teachers are trained to interact with the children in a natural, but structured way designed to provide children with the language expressions they need to function spontaneously in the language.
