FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every clients project is different, I quote according to scope. Once I know the full scope I will provide a proposal.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First is the initial contact. If a client is interested in working with me, I usually conduct a 15 minute phone call to have a quick chat about their project and let them ask me questions. Next if they want to proceed, I schedule and in home consultation. This allows me to see the space and the full scope of work and allows the client to ask additional questions about me or their project. Once I know the entire scope I can provide a client an estimate for the work to be done. When the client accepts, off we go on a rewarding design venture!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with a degree in Interior Design in 2012. I feel it is extremely important like in most other trades to keep up with education and trends. I take Continuing Education Classes and try to attending regular meetings with vendors to keep up to date on the newest products and processes. I am also a member of IIDA (International Interior Design Association), this gives me a valuable networking base.
