- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am now charging $90 per hour with a 2 hour minimum for personal events like weddings. I also charge a travel fee depending on where the event is taking place from my home base. The quotes for businesses is case by case basis because there is a lot more involved.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to get as much information as to what they want so I can make their night everything that they want. I make their event about them not about me. If there's a dinner involved I try to set up before the dinner so I am not interrupting their dinner setting up my equipment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been running karaoke at Tavernacle in Salt Lake City for the last ten years. I have been hired 49 times on Thumbtack as of Nov 5th, 2018. I have 31 reviews. I have also been hired 5-10 times outside of Thumbtack.
