- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $150 an hour with a minimum of 3 hours. This includes unlimited consulting and event planning, professional sound equipment and microphone, professional DJ/MC to insure your event runs smoothly, dance lighting and fog machine (depending upon venue).
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was waiting tables and a well known DJ came in with his family, he liked me and offered me a job. He taught me the science of making a great event. He told me the things to watch for behind the scenes, such as coordinating with other vendors and making sure things run smooth. And he taught me how to turn a bad situation into a great one.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I do mostly weddings. Couples like me because they don't want a typical wedding that is going to be a cookie cutter of every other wedding they have been to. They want help making it unique, with their own spin on it. But I enjoy any opportunity to help people have a good time. I have experience with dances, fund raisers, auctions, corporate events, fashion shows, grand openings and much more.
