About

I am a family and wedding photographer based in Salt Lake City, Utah. I provide edited high-resolution images to my clients via an online gallery where clients can download their images with a print release. My sessions include a few of the "everyone look at the camera and smile" shots, but I mostly focus on the moments in-between. The laughter, the genuine smiles, the intimate moments that make your heart skip two beats. Sometimes I will guide you to create beautiful moments and sometimes we'll let those moments happen naturally. It depends on you and your comfort level. I am all about those bright and true-to-life colors and moody black-and-whites. Filters and editing fads will come and go. I create classic images you will cherish forever. With a squirmy, walking one-year-old, getting good family photos is a challenge but Michelle was amazing! She was patient, fun, enthusiastic, and gave us a LOT of beautiful pictures! I loved the variety, quality, and the many different "snapshots of our life" she managed to capture.

My session fee includes edited high-resolution images. You will receive the images with a print release via an online gallery.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My love for photography began in high school when my brother convinced me to pool my birthday and Christmas gifts with his and beg our parents to gift us a shared DSLR. It was a pretty clever con my brother pulled off at the time but I fell in love with that camera in no time at all!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look at their portfolio! Instagram is a great resource for viewing a photographer's recent work.
