There were communication problems on two occasions. My thumbtack quote clearly said I needed help with spiders and ants, and I was given a quote. But when Beeline called to confirm I mentioned the ants and the spiders and the woman said “oh the quote was for spiders only, we’ll have to charge you $30 more for the ants.” Then when the exterminator came to the house he said would take care of the spiders and my wife reminded him that it was for the ants also and he said that he could not do the ants and spiders at the same time. So he did a spot treatment for the ants. I wonder now if we got a quality job for the ants.

We had a wasp/yellow jacket next high up in an eave. They came an sprayed the nest, as well as did preventative work in other areas where these bugs like to build nests. Beeline was easy to work with and helped us quickly. The exterminator was helpful, professional, and explained both his work and the warranty.

Beeline responded very quickly to my Thumbtack request, which was great. I had a couple mounds of dirt in my yard, and told them initially that I did not know what was causing the dirt mounds. I was aware of the $65 inspection fee, with the understanding that if I chose treatment that same day, the $65 wood be applied to the treatment cost. Everything sounded great, up to that point. This morning a young man arrived, looked at the mounds, said it was moles, and called the office to verify price. The office told him, without seeing the dirt mounds, no, it's not moles, it's gophers. Beeline can't treat for gophers, a detail I was not aware of to begin with. So, after standing in the front yard for 10 minutes, looking at these mounds of dirt, deciding via a phone call they can't treat, I was still charged the full $65 inspection fee. The entire "inspection" was looking at my lawn, and having someone on the phone give a diagnosis. I understand it costs money to run a business, but really, $65 to have a 5 minute conversation, and then be told they couldn't treat for gophers which is something I feel should have been mentioned earlier, seems like I just got scammed out of $65. Perhaps if I had been warned ahead of time that, oh by the way, if it IS anything bigger than a mole, we can't help you, I would not feel so taken advantage of. We are new to Utah, and I'm finding out the hard way there are different rules and regulations for exterminators. Live and learn I guess, but this was definitely not a good experience for me. I had even sent pictures of the biggest mound, and it seems someone could have realized it was too big for a mole to have made before they even came out...

Cost was reasonable, except that there was no guarantee of the work. The explanation was that rat populations are a neighborhood issue - even if the rats on our property are exterminated more could move in.

Professional and punctual. Came to spray for spiders . Highly recommend
