We had Pedro refinish our existing hardwood floors as well as install hardwood into our family room area. He did both for just a little more than other bids that were just for refinishing. His rates are excellent, he communicated well, and the quality of his work was top notch. We had a bad refinishing experience a few years ago, so we know what a bad job looks like. He used a custom stain mix that we recommended, and Pedro delivered on what we needed in our project. I would not hesitate in referring him for your hardwood project!

I hired Quicksand Flooring and Install to refinish the original hardwood floors in a home I was getting ready to sell. Pedro did an amazing job and exceeded my expectations! He has a great work ethic, uses quality products, his communication was excellent, he’s punctual, reliable and showed up every time he said he would. He was always happy to answer my questions and you could really tell his work is his passion! His friendly demeanor and easy going attitude really made the process feel easy and worry free and I couldn’t be happier with how my floors turned out. Pedro was fantastic to work with. We had our upstairs birch hardwood floors (1,121 sq./ft.) sanded and refinished with a more current finish. Given this would displace our family (we have a couple bedrooms upstairs), a timely schedule was important. Pedro would call/text me every morning and outline the schedule for the day, what he would be working on and when he would anticipate wrapping up. He kept to the schedule with no surprises and was transparent every step of the way. Pedro kept an extremely clean work area. Given the sanding of our floors, we anticipated a lot of dust. We experienced very minimal dust and he cleaned up all of his materials every evening prior to leaving. We were extremely impressed with his attention to detail. There were a few occasions were he spent extra time working on an area because he was not please with it or an imperfection in the existing material that he was trying to correct. He provided various options for us to try and match an existing hardwood that was in place (that we liked). Not only did Pedro provide the best value, he was definitely the right choice for the job. We couldn't be more pleased with the final product, the coloring, the finish, Pedro's professionalism, communication and attention to detail. We fully recommend Pedro, without hesitation, to anyone needing a contractor for their hardwood flooring needs.

Pedro refinished an oak floor that was very worn, had deep scratches and an area with water damage. He replaced the water damaged boards with flooring I removed from another area in the house which saved us a little money on materials. Pedro was punctual, polite and explained each step of his process. I was at the house doing some remodel activities while he was working and was totally impressed with his work ethic, attention to detail and the overall pride he takes in his work. The end result is a beautiful wood floor that looks like a new install. Pedro is a true craftsman and we will definitely come to him when it's time to refinish the remaining rooms in the house
