Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I LOVE taking pictures of people! I first fell for portrait photography on a college choir trip in 2014, and I never looked back. I specialize in headshots and portraits for performers, but I also love doing corporate/business headshots, creative portrait shoots, couples and engagements, and group shoots. I am very easygoing and conversational – I do my best to make my subjects feel comfortable, engaged, and appreciated in every photo shoot, and my primary goal is to make each subject look their absolute best! I love the creative challenge of photographing people. Each person brings their own set of unique physical and personality traits, and I find it very rewarding to be presented with a brand new combination of factors and figure out how to make all of those specific qualities shine through in a photograph that fully captures the subject. I hope to work with you soon!

I wanted an updated portrait shoot and headshots for myself and my social media channels. Amy made the shoot fun and easy to relax in front of the camera. What I wanted most were updated photos that reflected the confidence I feel on the inside and Amy delivered, above and beyond!

Amy is an incredibly talented photographer. Not only is she punctual and super responsive to messages, but she could easily charge way more for the quality of the photos you get. To top it off, she is the epitome of professional and kindness.

Amy is amazing! I hired her for headshots and her quality of work as a photographer is incredible. Her style of natural portraiture captures both her personal artistic style as well as your individuality. I loved that Amy was willing to shoot in different locations and brought out artistic contrasts in both of the locations we visited. Plus, we had such a fun time on the shoot! The turnaround on the finished product of High Res Images was amazingly quick too. I love the work Amy did for me and couldn't recommend her more highly - she is awesome!

I appreciate this so much, Sarah! Your shoot is still one of my favorites. :)

I have worked with As You Like It Photography in a few collaborative projects for the University of Utah school of music and has been a complete joy to work with. Not only is it professional, prompt and communicative, As You Like It also provides a wonderful atmosphere to request adjustments to any images that may or may not need some tweaks. The outcome/product is always clean, high quality and full of character.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

The price per session covers everything – shooting time, editing, digital & print rights, etc.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to spend 10-15 minutes just chatting and getting to know my client so that I can figure out how to best showcase their personality. From there we jump right into shooting - I usually wander around to three or four different locations, mess around with different poses and expressions, and see what we can come up with!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

My dad has been a photographer for most of my life, so I grew up watching the process and getting familiar with the equipment. When I finally got my own camera, he helped me get started, taught me the basic technique, and still gives me critiques and feedback so that I can do my absolute best work.
