About
I have been a professional photographer for over 25 years with numerous published photos.
I started out shooting sports, I was photo supervisor for 2002 Winter Olympics, and photographer for the Utah Grizzlies Hockey Team.
I expanded my portfolio and specialize in architectural/interior photography. I have many architectural clients, but I still felt like I wanted to explore other opportunities. I wanted to get more creative.
I'm really just a big kid. I started playing around with concept photography and eventually added a new specialty I call "Fantasy Photography" I still make the majority of my income shooting architectural photos, but my true passion is in my created fantasies.

I believe photograph is one of the great professions that many people would like to make a living from and very few actually take the plunge and succeed. It opens up numerous doors for the creative and for the curious. Everyday is different with new challenges and new goals.
It's a fun job!!

I hired Ted Cordingley to take pictures of my house before listing it for sale. Ted was very accommodating of my schedule and worked hard to rearrange an appointment for me. The pictures he took of my house are excellent. They make my house look much better than it really is. Ted took pictures on Saturday and delivered them on a disc to my house (45 minutes away) on Monday. I will definitely use Ted again for other photography.

Ted was absolutely phenomenal. He took the challenge of photographing my 7 bull terrier puppies and the pictures turned out outstanding. Also, he was such a pleasure to work with.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is not set in stone. Each job requires different needs. Post production is a very important part of photography so I will price a job, (flat fee) around time needed to shoot project and the time needed to give client a finished product.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I don't really believe in typical as each job is a living process that changes from one minute to the next. Sorry if you were looking for an outline, it's a little more organic and flexible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BS degree in Mass Communications University of Utah.
I owned and ran a commercial studio in Boston before moving back to Utah
where I now work. ( Studio in Draper )
