FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have a rough outline for pricing out services but with every project there are different design needs and goals. Which can make pricing fluctuate up or down. I will always deliver on budget and on time with well designed material. I do believe that designing is like cooking, the longer something has to set up the better the flavors will be. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to chat with my clients about what their desired design outcome is. What is it that you want to get out of the design? Are you open to other ideas? What styles of design are you drawn to or do you stay away from? Once we get the answers to these questions we can start to move forward in the design process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have degrees in Film and Design and routinely attend Adobe events to learn the latest and newest tricks in design. However the degrees and seminars don't really matter without a true love for design which I have. My favorite thing to do is to peruse a libraries design section for inspiring books to grow my knowledge and expertise. We are surrounded by design and I love taking it all in, noticing what works and doesn't work. .
