I have both tutored and taught locally in five states and Canada. With online tutoring, I have assisted students with their mathematical endeavors across the US and even in England. I have tutored students from 2nd grade to professionals working on their Masters degree. With an intimate knowledge of curriculum across all age levels, I know not only what is important for a student to learn in the now: I know what they will need to know years down the road. Tutors who only teach to a certain level do not bring this perspective. Don't hire an inexperienced tutor who can only teach material in the manner they learned it. I customize my approach to fit the learning style of my students. Unlike teaching, tutoring allows me to focus on the learning process, rather than being bogged down with classroom management issues. Students I've tutored (many of them for their entire middle and high school years) have been accepted at prestigious colleges: MIT, Duke, Brown, Vanderbilt, the University of Michigan, and University of North Carolina...just to name a few.
