FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a $2,000 project minimum! For projects with multiple phases or components (i.e. multiple walls or different rooms), I will offer a discount for bundling them to be installed concurrently. My fees are all-inclusive of a design package with 3 options, a round of revisions, materials and installation. It does not cover lift equipment, anti-graffiti coatings, or travel + lodging beyond 90 minutes from SLC.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually like to have a meeting with the customer in person (or on zoom), to get a sense of the project and the site. Taking measurements and seeing the wall condition helps me to put together an accurate estimate, in addition to hearing the customer's design goals and intended scope. I will then send an estimate email over with lots of price ranges we could potentially explore. The client then chooses a range, I take an initial deposit, and then I create a design package with 3 options spanning the pre-determined price range. After that we revise as needed and schedule an install date.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My background is in architecture, and I worked in that field for 10 years. I have been painting murals full-time since 2021, with over 50 projects under my belt (Public, Commercial and Residential). I hold a BS in architecture and a BA in fine art. I have experience with projects that are under construction or even in the beginning planning phases. I am experienced with lift equipment (scissor and boom lifts).
