FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I run my own business and Can work with you on pricing within reason. I prefer longer sessions and will discount the the longer the session. I've done 3 hour, Four, Five and even up to a 7 1/2 hour massage on one person (for those more vetted in massage therapy). I can and will offer a discount for prepaid multiple sessions that are transferrable and non expiring. Many people have told me they hired other therapists based solely on price and regretted it. They came to me after and realized the value in my pricing. Important to remember, not all therapists running a business have a business license or are insured. That's why they can or are offering you the lower prices.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Asking customers what their needs are, any special areas of focus like muscle tension or pain issues, educating customers on possible techniques and treatment plans that may best suit their needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Utah College of Massage Therapy March 2015. I have continued my education in Prenatal Massage, Cupping, Cranio-Sacral, Geriatric, Oncology Massage and Burn Survivor Scar Tissue (applicable to most all scar tissue), amongst other classes of focused muscle groups. I attend yearly conferences such as The American Massage Therapy Association Conference (September 2017) and World Massage Conference (August 2018), WMC May 2019 (Will be taking classes for Thai on the Table and Bamboo Fusion), Cadaver classes geared towards Massage Therapy for more advanced detail in muscles and body systems. I've worked with Chiropractors and in Well Rebound Resort Spas.
