Jay has been helping me with weight loss and improving my fitness for several months now, and he is awesome! As an overweight, out of shape female in my late 50's I was reluctant to hire personal trainer, thinking it would be embarrassing and I'd look foolish. Still, I knew it would help hold me accountable if I did, so I hired Jay. It was an excellent decision! From day one he made me feel okay about myself. He works me at my level, plus a little more...pushes me just hard enough so I continue to improve, without becoming discouraged. Since I started, my strength and endurance has noticeably improved, and I've lost 30 pounds. We are now a team with a joint goal...a birthday-to-birthday fitness challenge to see what we can accomplish in a year of working together. As a trainer, Jay is knowledgeable on the latest in exercise and nutrition, certified, affordable, prompt, immensely kind and understanding, non-judgmental and he brings a sense of humor and fun to the gym with him every day. I truly believe what Jay says in his bio...he cares about helping his clients and it's obvious it is what he loves about his job. I recommend Jay Baquerizo as a personal trainer without reservation. He is outstanding!

I thought I knew a lot about fitness until I started working with Jay. I had specific goals I wanted to achieve and Jay helped steer me in the right direction. I was not doing the right workouts for the type of results I wanted. Jay took my fitness goals and made killer custom workouts for me. I started seeing great results after the first couple of weeks. Not only did he help my fitness progress he also helped me tremendously with my diet and eating habits. He is very knowledgeable about nutrition and clean healthy eating. I also tend to ask a lot of questions and can be borderline annoying but Jay never hesitated to answer my questions and never made me feel bad for asking them. He makes me feel like a friend, not just a client. I would highly recommend Jay to anyone wanting to accomplish their fitness goals! Crystal

Jay is the most genuine and caring personal trainer that I have ever gone to. He is very personal in his training techniques, and will figure out which technique works best for you. He knows his stuff, and takes great pride in every person that he trains. I would highly recommend Jay.

Amazing!!!! Could ask for a better trainer, easy to follow even for the beginners out there (me). I would give 10+ stars buuuut that wasn't an option. You can't go wrong with this guy!!!

Last summer I was extremely frustrated with my lack of progress trying to loose weight on my own. Jay not only helped me loose 25 pounds successfully, train for a half marathon, and gain a new sense of confidence---he did so with no judgment, a positive disposition, and an inspiring attitude. I can't thank him enough for helping me get on track to becoming my best self!
