I’m a photographer who loves capturing real moments and telling stories through images.
My background is in photojournalism, so I’ve always approached photography a little differently. I’m drawn to the moments that happen naturally—the split second during a big play, the emotion on someone’s face, the energy of a live event, or the little details that make a place feel like home. I like images that feel real, not overly staged or forced.
These days, I specialize in sports, live events, and real estate photography. I’m also a certified drone pilot, which gives me another way to showcase your property.
I’ve been fortunate enough to have my work recognized with several awards, including being recognized by the Society of Professional Journalists and the Utah Press Association; but what I enjoy most is still the photography and video itself. I love meeting new people, being in the middle of the action, and finding those moments that might otherwise be missed.

I cannot recommend him enough. I hired him to take updated exterior photos of our home for sale, and he absolutely delivered. He was professional, responsive, easy to work with, and clearly knew how to make the property look its best even with less-than-perfect weather.
The photos came out clean, bright, polished, and made a huge difference in how the home presents online. He paid attention to the angles, lighting, curb appeal, and overall first impression, which matters so much when selling a house.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices include any additional editing required for photography and video. The price is shows a 3.5% discount for using Venmo or any payment other than credit card.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'll answer any additional questions asked by the client after my quote has been received. If accepted, I will reach out and receive as many details about the event to give me an idea of what to do and have a vision.
Alternatively, I encourage you to view my profile to answer any questions you may have or I may have for you and then you may hire from there.
Once all is done, and they're ready to hire me, I ask them to create the event in Thumbtack and mark me as hired.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A BA in Communications and a BA in Film.
I also received certification from Apple for Final Cut Pro X and Avid for Avid Studio for video editing.
