Introduction: I was lucky in that the mentor I studied under didn't teach that just one school or style of yoga was "correct". She encouraged me to take classes from a variety of teachers, read about different styles and theories, and think about what points were the most important to me...then, I was encouraged to create my own unique yoga perspective and teaching style to emphasize those important points. She also encouraged me to continue taking classes, reading, and studying so that I can continue to grow as a teacher.
