The job was for a deep cleaning of my 2 bedroom apartment. The area specified was 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, the kitchen (including the refrigerator), and the living room. It supposedly took a total of 4 hours. I was not home for the cleaning, but my landlord called to let me know that the cleaners had not yet arrived -- 2 hours after they were scheduled to get there. She was sticking around specifically to give them the key to my apartment. I was having company over that night and thought I would have everything done by the time I got home. This was already not a good experience because I was at work and there was nothing I could do. This was my very first professional cleaning experience so I wondered if they were going to come at all and I completely panicked. The cleaning ended up getting done in time, but it concerned me and made me very stressed when I heard they were that late. I got home after work and was happy at first glance, but after checking things out more closely, the kitchen floor was not clean and it felt like someone merely ran a vacuum on the carpet and a few things got dusted. I don't know if my expectations were set too high, but I definitely do not feel as though a "deep cleaning" was done. I feel like it was a very basic cleaning that I could have done by myself in an hour or two, at the most. That being said, the shower in my bathroom had been cleaned well and the refrigerator was clean, although the freezer was not. I was surprised to figure out that I should have specified refrigerator AND freezer. I was also surprised that I needed to clean my kitchen floor myself. My countertops were also wiped down poorly and I had to quickly redo them before my company arrived. I had a bad experience and would not use Many Maids again, nor would I ever recommend them to anyone I know. I feel like the apartment areas I specified that needed cleaning should have looked good as new with 2 cleaners there and 4 hours of work reported.

I had a special occasion and need some cleaning done asp. The customer service on the phone was very good, girls were on time and did a fabulous job. I'm very happy and would be using them for regular basics.
