We were very happy with Utah Radon Defense. They were very professional and helpful. We originally got a bid from another organization, but they did it over the phone. We liked that Utah Radon Defense came to the house, looked at our layout, and let us know what to expect. The installation itself was smooth and the mitigation system is out of the way and seems to be functioning well. We just completed our post-mitigation radon test, but don't have the results yet. We assume the reduction will be significant.

Just use them! I got a handful of quotes for radon mitigation and this company stood out. They were the only company who did in person quotes which I loved! JJ is the owner of this small local business and is certified, knowledgeable, and very personal. He was willing to come out and do a free quote. He looked at our space and gave us a custom quote as well as advised us on the most discrete placement, pipe size, and answered all of our questions. Most companies give you a one size fits all generic quote from a sales person (not the technician) without even coming out. JJ was very communicative through the entire process, on time, and did clean/fast work. He was there every step on install day with two other competent workers. I liked that they did small tests first to make sure the air was actually moving with a pump before putting the entire system in. I was impressed with how respectful they were of my home toothey put down carpet covers and wore shoe protectors the entire time. (I'm used to cleaning up after service people are in my house but it wasn't necessary with them.) Pricing was competitive and the system fan has a 5 year warranty. I would totally use them again and 100% recommend.
