Thanks for checking out my Thumbtack page. I’ve been teaching drum lessons for years, and it’s been both rewarding and fun. I’m a very patient teacher, and I truly care about each student’s progress.
Over my teaching career, I’ve led many student recitals, and parents have shared how inspiring and encouraging my lessons have been for their kids. I’m grateful for the excellent training I received from my own teachers, and I love passing that knowledge on.
I use a mix of proven methods and books, including one I wrote myself, and I’m always open to teaching the music and style you’re excited about. I offer 30- and 60-minute drum lessons, with flexible, reasonable pricing and a free first lesson.

I've been taking my son to Dave for drumlessons for awhile now and its been such a great experience. Dave is a very skilled drummer and my son loves his lessons and looks forward to them every week. I highly recommend him!!!

Dave has been a great instructor for our son! He is very knowledgeable about drums and helped us get the right drum set and even get it set up. He has made playing the drums both easy and fun. He is also punctual and flexible with our schedule.

I decided one day to start playing the drums, had no idea what I was doing. I contacted Dave about 5 years ago and have been taking lessons every week from Dave. He is a great teacher. When lessons are difficult we work through the music and he keeps me motivated.
Highly recommended for new and seasoned drummers.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is very competitive. The price shown is not exactly what I charge. If you Contact me I can explain in more detail of how my prices work.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first get to know the student and his or her background in music or playing the drums. From there I determine a lesson plan for the student based on his or her goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied with 4 different teachers during my time playing the drums. The most recent one being a well known teacher back east. He teaches all over the world from the United States to Germany and other countries online. He was and still is extremely knowledgeable. I took his mentorship program he had at that time. I learned quite a bit from him.
