These guys were awesome. I had a pipe burst downstairs that destroyed two rooms and part of a third, and after all the drywall and carpeting was torn up and removed, a third contractor came in to quote the renovation that I just didn't have the greatest feeling about, so I reached out on Thumbtack to find an alternative. When Ruben and his team stopped by, I was really impressed with his professionalism and experience and decided to go with KY Renovations. I was very pleased with the results, and when they finished, I actually had a friend tell me that the pipe bursting was almost a blessing, as the basement looked even better than before. KY did a fantastic job with the drywall, the painting, the carpeting, and even a few random fixes to some unnecessary damage caused by the mitigation team, and I'm very happy to have hired them. Also, it didn't hurt that their quote was nearly $8,000 lower than the initial bid I received from my original vendor. I cannot recommend these guys enough.

Ruben's quality of work was excellent. He repaired a vent hole in our ceiling left from a swamp cooler we had removed. He also applied a skim coat to cover the old texturing, making the ceiling nice and smooth. And finally, he painted the enter ceiling & hallway to freshen it all up.

Reuben and his assistant were wonderful to work with. I wish I had taken a picture of my kitchen when the were painting the cabinets! I left for work and came home to floor to ceiling plastic around my kitchen and covering all appliances, ensuring that no paint would get anywhere other than the cabinets. The pictures shown are the after shots I took of the cabinet doors drying. The garage was completely covered too so none of my belongings got paint on them. It was truly impressive! Note – we did the backsplash, knobs and outlet covers ourselves. We couldn’t have done such a nice job on the cabinets ourselves. If you are looking for quality, professional, and competent help on a project, reach out to Reuben at KyRenovations! I will use him for any upcoming projects in my home.
