- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a strong referral discount: 1 full month off of lessons after the referral stays in lessons for 2 months. There is a small fee for recitals. If music theory workbooks or other singing reference book is recommended, the student covers that cost.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Each prospective student is offered a complementary intro lesson, to see if working together is a mutually good fit. In the intro lesson we get to know one another, do a brief vocal assessment, and go over lesson details. The intro typically lasts about 45 minutes. After scheduling is decided, the new student fills out an online registration form and receives a welcome packet via email. There are no contracts or commitment requirements. No payment is due until the first lesson. Payments cover monthly tuition.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance from the U of U, have studied singing abroad in Europe on two separate occasions, and coached with top teachers, performers, directors, and composers.
