The estimate process was very unclear. I explained exactly what was needed, as I had with other prospects, and it was jumbled. Communication was also awful. Delayed replies, no updates when things changed, and the job was only partially done.

I appreciate your feedback. I am sorry to hear you felt the estimate was unclear and jumbled. Regarding the delayed response, as you can understand, this is our peak season and we are currently very busy.
However, I am confused as to why you chose to hire us for your project if you felt this way during the estimation process and only rated us 2 stars.
The estimate provided and approved clearly states:
- Item line 1: Landscape - Minor Grading or Resloping – $2,500.00 per job
- Item line 2: Sod - Install – $0.95 per sq. ft. (1,700 sq. ft.) – $1,615.00
My crew was on-site completing the work. The project was only partially done due to a change order, as you and your husband decided to install the sod yourselves. My crew successfully completed the grading and resloping, and you paid the $2,500.00 as agreed upon and stated in the provided estimate.

JB Lawn set a time to come over quickly to assess the problem and give me a bid. They inspected carefully and found the problem and gave me a fair bid price. The very next day they returned and fixed the problem very quickly. No fuss, no muss.

We Didn't Start Overnight - This Business Took Me A While
I decided to make a bold move and change in my life for my health, happiness for myself, my family, and to be able to serve others. Growing up with my father in the trucking industry, I followed his footsteps and became a CDL driver for 18 yrs. working in various fields of construction. I enjoyed it for many years.
After many years pushing through, working hard, and trying to get somewhere with several different companies and never getting a sure opportunity for something more; I decided to start something I love doing. That something, was working outdoors. Using my background in construction, I felt totally ready to start JB Lawn Works.
I have built a lot of great relationships with my clients, but most of all great relationships with my employees. What I have cherished and loved most about my company is being a good role model and leader to my peers, and the satisfying look on my client's faces with a job well done.
