Hey there! My name is Jahara Jennaé! I've been a makeup artist since 2011. I am based in Alexandria where I have a studio and full service team. I also have a Richmond studio and team. I absolutely love transforming someone's outer beauty to match their inner. I have a lot of experience with on set photo shoots, weddings, headshots, commercial, editorial, and fashion. I have a team of stylist that can work with you if I personally am unavailable or if we need extra hands! My team and I have extensive experience with various races, facial shapes, and skin textures.

Jahara did my bridal makeup along with 6 bridesmaids, MOB, and MOG. She was very sweet and professional. Everyone loved their makeup! She was punctual and a great conversationalist. She made everyone feel at ease on a busy day. She also did touch ups on the girls if we needed it. Thank you so much, Jahara, for making us all feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day!

Jahara and her team were absolutely perfect for my south indian wedding. As an indian bride with darker skin tones, I wanted a makeup team that valued diverse skin tones. She was so kind and thoughtful the entire day. Even when I was tired, she kept me chatting and happy the entire day. She is always such a hype girl too! She also made sure I was fed and hydrated, which was so kind. I had two makeup and hair looks in one day and me and my entire family received so many compliments. People said they hadn’t seen bride and her family look natural in their makeup in a long time. Definitely sent her contact around to people :) If I lived in Virginia, I would rebook her in a heartbeat!

Jahara did the most superb phenomenal job providing both hair and makeup services for my daughter’s 7th birthday spa party. All the girls looked absolutely ADORABLE and we finished on time—despite having to get through 13 girls. I’m so thankful we found Jahara—she was THE BEST.
