About
Being a teacher for nearly ten years, I have become adept at breaking information and processes down for easier absorption. I believe that every child has endless potential, we just have to set them up for success! I love art! Art has been a passion of mine since I have been old enough to use a pencil. I love the wonder in kids eyes when they see a difficult project and they realize that they can accomplish it, too.

Veronica has been a wonderful math tutor for our rising fifth grader. She assessed my daughter's strengths and areas for improvement and has designed a course of action tailored to her needs. I'd highly recommend her to others!

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Chemistry, a teaching certificate, a Master's Degree in Teacher Leadership, and have taken the Praxis II exam in teaching Fine Arts.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

Teaching found me. I originally went to school to study biology and chemistry. I was moving to Baltimore and looking for science-related jobs. One of the ads that popped up was to teach science in Baltimore. My first thoughts were that I knew I was good with kids and that I knew I could make science a lot fun. I fell in love with the job on my first day.
