FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We base our pricing from insurance approved estimating software called xacimate. It’s industry standard. Using this software and the process that we have in place, makes it transparent. The process in place is based off of guidelines for restoration companies on how jobs for water or mold are mitigated and priced. It comes with proof of pictures pre and post, lots of notes, measurements and moisture readings. It’s an actual science. For the mold aspect we also use a 3rd party mold inspector that puts a work protocol in place. That’s the difference between us and the competitors.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After making contact and going over issue, we will then make an appointment for services needed. Once at the job we do a walk through of site. Taking pictures, moisture readings. Reason behind pictures and moisture readings is to have proof of wetness for clients or insurance companies. Once we start the job , the process is, first we remove anything affected by the water or mold through demolition (drywall) and pulling out wet carpets and carpet paddings. Moisture readings happens on a daily basis for three days till the Job is completed and fully dry. The moisture reading provides us a understanding of the drying process through air movers(fans) to blow air to dry affected areas. We also have dehumidifiers for drying moisture in the air.
