- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I have four certifications from the Wellness Council of America and participate in ongoing continuing education in my field to meet the requirements set by the Nutritional Therapy Association that certified me.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I didn't get interested in nutrition in a serious way until I had my own health crisis that landed me in the ER. It was a combination of A-fib, a potassium deficiency and years of eating processed food and not enough healthy carbs, fats and proteins. I am eternally grateful that I found a holistic nutritional therapy practitioner (same credential as mine) who educated me and gave me the tools I need to make the necessary changes. I became healthy, energetic and lost those extra pounds. I was inspired to get the NTP training and help others.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Nutrition counseling, food shopping, meal-planning, recipes, and prepping food for home-bound clients.
