- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a college senior I went to several events sponsored by the College of Business to get my headshots taken. I was always so disappointed in how these turned out, and with graduation approaching, I knew I needed photos I felt confident and representative of me for my LinkedIn, Resume, Facebook, etc. Working with a second-hand entry-level camera and a borrowed tripod I took my own portraits, and immediately fell in love. I started taking photos all around campus, upgraded my camera, and started taking photos of my friends to replace their mediocre headshots from campus events as well. It was during this time that I fell in love with making people feel comfortable in front of the camera and capturing even the most camera-shy in a way that shows them just how beautiful and confident they can be.
