Ed did a great job making our shower tiles and floor look much newer. Created a wall self and installed the shower trim kit also. Wonderful service and communication throughout, recommended!!

Dunn Right did a great job in every aspect of my project from start to finish. Upon moving into a new home, I needed my mailbox moved to a different area of the driveway/road due to USPS regulations. This ended up being a little more complicated due to the terrain near the road where the mailbox needed to be moved (ditches on both sides of driveway). I reached out to Dunn Right on Thumbtack, not knowing anything about them or the quality of their work. Ed responded promptly on the same day and we texted back and forth about the project. I could tell right away that he knew exactly what to do & how, so I felt comfortable moving forward with Ed to complete the project within the next few days. We continued to communicate via text & Ed provided detailed info about everything regarding the project. I was away from home on the day he did the work, but Ed sent me pics & additional detailed info on what he did. When I returned home, the mailbox looked great in its new location and everything was within the USPS guidelines/specs. Ed even threw in a few extras, like additional spikes in the bottom of the post to ensure it was secure, and reflectors for visibility at night. You never truly know what you’re going to get when hiring someone who you don’t have any previous experience with, so I feel lucky to have found Ed. He was professional, responsive, trustworthy, & the price was reasonable; would definitely recommend & use his services for future projects!

I have nothing but great things to say about Ed’s work and professionalism! Couldn’t be happier with my deck.
Ed responded to my request quickly, came out to inspect the project and give me a quote, then promptly scheduled a time to come do the repair. He made recommendations as to what needed to be done to my deck and provided me with a very reasonable quote. I’d gotten multiple estimates before speaking with Ed, but I ultimately decided to go with him because he seemed knowledgeable, honest (didn’t try to upsell me), and experienced. I’m really happy I did because he made this a very quick and painless process! Very impressed with the quality of his work and speed at which he completed it. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have an hourly rate but also do custom proposals depending on the project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I consult with the client to get a good grasp of what they are looking to accomplish. I can meet in person or start with pictures if preferred, and will then provide a detailed project proposal and move forward once the the client and I are in synch with next steps forward.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I’ve been working with my hands as long as I can remember. My father was a plumber and growing up I always got dragged to job sites doing various trades, mostly carpentry. I spent a few years working as a framing carpenter for a custom home builder. On and off I’ve been doing side projects for years for family and friends (and myself) and after years of them telling me I should do this professionally, I finally decided to launch Dunn Right LLC.
