- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are based on the complexity of the job and the length of the material to be edited. For example, proofreading a one-page news release will cost less than major copy editing for a lengthy business report.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I want to learn the client's goals for the project and expectations for my work. For lengthy or complicated projects, I will develop a work plan and timetable to discuss with the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a writer or editor for newspapers and magazines for 40 years. I've conducted seminars and workshops on writing improvement for editors and business executives.
