Cory's company did the landscaping for our new home and was hired by the contractor. Of course, there was nothing but clay there after the house was built. However, they did not bring in topsoil, just filtered clay as fill dirt. Then, they put down a minimal amount of seed. This was all done during the summer and there was not yet any way to water. I'm amazed that any grass came up. They came back once to redo areas they missed the first time and shovel the driveway (which they also did) out of the front yard where it had washed.
When the clay dried up, all the grass was choked out. I watered constantly after we got in but could not use the yard because it was clay mud. I put in a $4000 drainage system, reseeded the whole yard and kept it watered. I'm now in the process of spreading a dump truck load of chicken manure over it to provided a bit of organic cover so the clay does not dry hard.
Additionally, they did not do any mulch. We were going to plant our own shrubs so we told them not to seed that area. Instead of mulching it like the contract specified, they just spread some straw on it.
Sorry, I cannot find a reason to recommend these guys.

My family has really enjoyed the beautiful patio that Trademark Landscapes installed two summers ago. The guys were extremely professional and Cory was always quick to answer any questions that we had. I highly recommend Trademark Landscapes.
