We found DMV Chimney Services on Thumbtack and from the moment I reached out they were incredibly quick to respond, which honestly already set them apart. From the first call to final installation they were responsive, professional, and honest about exactly what we needed and what it would cost. No upselling, no surprises. They installed a stainless steel chase cover on our chimney and the whole process was smooth start to finish. Fair pricing, quality materials, and they showed up when they said they would. In today's world that alone puts them ahead of the pack. What really stood out was the attention to detail. They documented everything with photos throughout the process so you know exactly what was done and why. They also took the extra step of spray painting the cap to match our home. Such a small thing but it makes a huge visual difference and you can tell they actually take pride in their work rather than just getting the job done and moving on. DMV responded quickly to our inquiry and inspected the chimney of a home we are renovating. They provided photos, a clear explanation of what we were seeing, and recommendations moving forward. The estimate was reasonable, the job was scheduled in a timely manner, and work was completed yesterday. Anthony was great! I was able to set up an appointment very quickly with a little turnaround time (next day was available which was incredibly convenient). He gave me a call before arriving, and showed up within the time frame provided. He not only inspected the chimney but then was able to complete the cleaning right away and also provided before and after pictures. Everything was discussed beforehand and he gave me clear information for what he would do and cost of the services.I was able to pay with Apple Pay which was also incredibly convenient. Overall this was a great experience and would definitely call them again.
