I usually don't write reviews on thumbtack, but My experience with Raven home improvement was so good that I decided to write this review. Usually when I hire people, sometimes they give a decent price but they are not punctual or most of the time something is lacking, however, this experience was excellent. First of all the price was fair. Second, the communication was excellent. I initially got a quote from them and then they followed up, if I want to proceeed. I decided to proceed. I needed to change my kitchen sink faucet and also install an under the sink water filter. We agreed on a time and it wasn't a 4 hour timeframe but it was 12 noon. Yashar was right on time at 12 o'clock. He was very professional and checked everything. He didn't recommend any extra parts. He initially installed the faucet and then moved to install water filter. Unfortunately water filter was missing a link. Yashar went out and checked multiple stores and eventually found the part, and didn't even charge extra. He then tested everything and made sure that everything works as expected and no leaks is there. Overall I was very happy with the experience and definitely recommend them.

Great experience replacing a light fixture that proved a bit too tricky for us because of the junction box. Ended up caulking around the top, too, to make it look even more finished. Friendly, professional, responsive, and punctual (providing a heads up with ETA as well).
