At NOVA Stair Remodeling, we offer a comprehensive range of services to meet all your flooring and remodeling needs. Our expertise includes hardwood floor installations, luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring, stair and handrail remodeling and carpet installation. Additionally, we provide paint and drywall services to ensure your entire home receives the care and attention it deserves.
I provide materials and installation services for all flooring needs. With 20 years experience, I have expert installers and connections to vendors so you can find the right product and have it installed professionally. I keep over 50 different styles and colors of carpet in stock for a quick turn around as well as a good selection of Luxury Vinyl Plank. We specialize in staircase remodels and subfloor repairs and replacements.
I am a local small contractor with low overhead and great price points. I thoroughly enjoy working with people to improve their homes and help find great quality products at low prices.

Peter responded to my request in less than a day, provided an estimate, and suggested some alternate solutions. He was very knowledgeable and we ended up going with Peters recommendations for hardwood flooring. Peter has an excellent craftsman who did a hardwood mule step for us. His workers were courteous, professional and worked quickly. The final product was amazing, and we were pleased with flooring. I would 100% recommend Peter for your stair and flooring needs.

Pleasure dealing with Peter. His crew discover I had a leak in my basement. They removed wet carpet and Peter alerted me and even found me a plumber to make repairs since I was remote. When his crew came back to install carpet they did a great job!

Couldn't recommend Peter more - 5/5 stars. Highly communicative and consultative, it was clear that Peter wanted us to have exactly what we were looking for. Excuse the mess in the photos; took these kind of mid-flight as we were moving things out of the way / doing some other reno work.
We replaced 2,500 sq ft of flooring, as well as our main foyer stairway. The downstairs was a mix of manufacturer grade, 2" thick, red oak strips and carpeting; the stairway and entire 2nd floor (except the bathrooms - which were faux tile / laminate) was carpeted.
Peter's demo / installation team were timely, professional, friendly / easy to work with, and ultimately did a great job. The punch list at the end of the project was minimal which was a welcome change - usually, whole house projects end with a laundry list of problems and things that need fixing; this one didn't. The few items that we (my wife) hawk-eyed, were fixed without any pain or argument from Peter et al.
Peter has a custom stain guy which really helped to seal the deal for us. If you're installing LVP, it can be difficult to find the matching components for various floor elements e.g. bullnose / stair-nose, quarter-round, transition strips, etc. The custom stained red oak is a perfect match to our LVP, and way stronger than what you'll get from LVP suppliers (if they even have matching options).
Peter is kind of a one-stop shop for a lot of this stuff - we also used his stair runner connection to install complementary grey carpet runners on both of our stairways, as well as his painter who touched up all of our baseboards with fresh caulk and glossy white.

My husband and I absolutely love our new floors. Peter was able to perfectly match our new hardwood floors with existing hardwood. Peter's team also installed our carpet runner on the new hardwood stairs and it looks amazing!
