He has fixed leaks, repaired and completely replaced plumbing rather than relying on temporary fixes, installed recessed lighting, updated a bathroom, repaired uneven walls and flooring, worked on doors and locks, painted, installed new drop-ceiling tiles, and transformed a basement into a much brighter and more livable space. His team is incredibly versatilethey have handled carpentry, flooring, plumbing, electrical work, leveling, painting, and just about every home repair or improvement I have thrown at them.One of the recent project he completed for us was completely redoing our three-season patio and front stoops. The old surface was covered with a felt/carpet-like material that had to be removed, and underneath it the concrete needed a significant amount of preparation before it could be finished properly. Imams team spent DAYS just scraping away the old material and concrete remnants, leveling and smoothing the surface, and making sure everything was properly prepared before applying the epoxy. They did not rush through the part no one would eventually see just to get to the finished product faster.The result was a dramatic transformation. The patio and stoops looked completely different, the old dog odor from the carpet was finally gone, and the entire area felt clean and refreshed. The basement work had the same effectit went from feeling dark and unfinished to bright, clean, and genuinely welcoming.Another reason I continue to use Imam is that he listens to what YOU actually want. He doesnt simply tell you how he wants to do a project. He explains the pros and cons of different approaches, points out potential risks before you make a decision, gives you alternatives, and is upfront about pricingespecially if you tell him you are working within a particular budget. I never feel pressured into choosing the most expensive option.He also communicates throughout the entire project. He checks in on progress, sends updates/videos unprompted, makes sure you are happy with how things are turning out, and addresses questions along the way so there are no surprises at the end.After more than six projects together, I trust Imam with my home. Finding a contractor who is skilled is one thing; finding someone who is skilled, honest, fair, communicative, exceptionally clean, respectful of your space, and who genuinely cares about the quality of the finished product is another.I cannot recommend Imam and his team highly enough.
