I've been in therapy since I was a kid, so I've had a lot of therapists over the years. I struggle with depression and I spent the majority of my life living in it and suffering in a pretty debilitating way. My therapist at Resolve is the first one who has been able to teach me to change my thinking in a way that made CBT actually work, instead of feeling like some mystical cure-all. After working with my therapist for a year, I can honestly say that the last six months have felt like my depression is in remission and I finally have control of my mood. I saw Doctor Bonanni-Hawk for several months. It was a complete waste of time and money. Her 'help' and suggestions could have been picked out of a random self-help book. Maybe she would be useful for people with minor problems or who only see a therapist for the attention, but for anyone with real problems, go to a different provider.
