We had a fifty year roof installed from Homefix in Richmond VA. We were initially contacted by Justin Ray at our residence. Justin was very personable and courteous, a knowledgeable representative of GAF roofing systems. He answered all of our questions and showed us research backing up the information that was presented during our meeting. Well done Justin! We then met with Emily Rinaldo who filled us in on warranty information and finance options. Emily was very friendly and an excellent representative of Homefix Custom Remodeling in Richmond. She was very patient with all of our questions. She was a great help in getting financing for our roofing project. Good job Emily! Sara Scander was very understanding about our scheduling difficulties and went out of her way to make sure we had the best start date possible. Thank you Sara! Then we met some of the workers at our house. They always stopped what they were doing to answer any questions or concerns that we had. They did an excellent job on the roof install. Thank you all! We met Jim who was the site manager for our install. What an amazing person! He took a lot of time to address ALL the issues or concerns we had about the install and patiently walked us around the house to make extra sure that we didn't have any issues about the finished project. Thank you Jim for being patient and understanding of our concerns during this install. We definitely are recommending Homefix for quality, value and warranty on roof installations. We look forward to hearing about other products that they offer. Thank you all for an excellent experience having our roof replaced! The Crandalls.

Kristina did a fantastic and thorough job explaining the product, stages of installation and warranty. She was very knowledgeable and answered all questions we had. She contacted us multiple times during the process to see how things were going which was great! She did also contact us afterwards to make sure there were no further questions.Jim did a great job answering all questions I had as we walked through reviewing the final product. He checked in multiple times before and after install to make sure all was in good order.During the 2 days of roof install both Jim and Kristina kept in contact with me as things progressed which was awesome since a roof install is a big project for your home. During install, pictures were sent to me showing some rotten decking board spots that needed replacing. It was great to see the evidence via pictures since I could not be home to see the damage in person. During Kristinas product explanation she had already warned me that some decking boards may have issues so there was no surprise on my end when some decking boards showed up as being rotten and one board even had a hole straight to the soffit!Josh helped me quickly price out the new decking boards so there was no question on what it would add to the final roofing cost.Lastly, when Jim visited during the roof install he looked over our finances and roof cost and with our good credit was able to add the gutter guard system while lowering our overall interest rate. The white gutters look great with dark bronze gutter guards paired with the oyster gray architectural 50 year warranty shingles! Gutters were installed in just one afternoon!Oh and the new skylight, it is so clear, its fantastic! My wife, son and me all thought they left the skylight out and would get to it later, but nope, it was there the whole time, it was just so transparent it looked like an open hole to the sky, but it indeed had been installed. My son even tried yelling Hello!? out of it thinking it was missing.Kristina, Jim, Josh and install crew were all fantastic and made for a wonderful experience, I highly recommend their products and services!!!!

High pressure sales. Their quote was more then twice the other quotes we received, for the same work and the same architectural shingles. Ben, the sales person that came to our home, said our roof was 30 squares, it isn't, it's 24. Make sure you have done your homework and have other quotes before you call this company. Update: I see the company has now responded, much like they do to most of their negative ads. The problem was not with Ben, the sales person. He was nice enough and professional. The problem is with the tactics this company uses. They want to be the first person to give you a quote, because their prices are so ridiculously high. They want you to sign right there and then, or the price goes up. Why can't the customer take even 24 hours to think about it? Ben was just doing his job. If you read other reviews and complaints about this company, you will find this is the way they do business, not an isolated event with one particular sales person.
