I hired Kenny to remove fiberboard ceiling tiles, install ceiling drywall, replace 3x light fixtures, and paint my 800 sq/ft apartment. He did an absolutely phenomenal job and was available on a tight schedule. I am so appreciative of how quickly he was able to get the work done (within 2 weeks) and how easy it was to communicate with him throughout the job. He shared updates and photos of his progress, which I really appreciated as I was not able to be onsite. If you are looking for help with any contracting job, look no further! Kenny is an absolute legend.

I just moved into a new townhouse and the movers could not get my supersized couch up the stairs to the living room due to the newel, 3 balusters, and the handrail. Plus the handrail along the wall. Therefore, they left my couch in the basement and I had one lonely chair in the living room. One of the reasons I bought the house was to use the basement as an art studio and the couch was taking up considerable room and of course was not being utilized as it should up in the living room. I just registered on the Nextdoor app and thought I would look there using Thumbtack and within five minutes of submitting my request I received three responses. Two we’re not available immediately but would schedule something and one, Welch Works, said they could probably get out that day, and by 3 they were at my house. After removing all the obstacles, some hemming and hawing, pushing shoving manipulating, they managed to get the couch up the stairs and where it belongs. A small celebration ensued. From there they continued and installed a chandelier in my living room and a ceiling fan/light in my master bedroom. Everything works great and looks great. The owner, Ken Welch, and Corey were extremely polite, thoughtful, considerate, just a pleasure do you have in my home - for four hours. And the final bill was very reasonable, so reasonable that I added a little extra because they definitely deserved it by getting that couch up the stairs. I have several other projects lined up and look forward to Welch Works returning. Hopefully this review won’t hinder them from finding time for me because now everybody’s gonna want them!🤣

I either charge an hourly rate or a set price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we ask for pictures and details before arriving so we are prepared before we arrive for our first in person consultation. We then stop by for an in person consultation and assess damages and provide estimates all at no cost. After we agree to a budget, we typically ask for 20-30% of the cost up front for material costs, provide the clients with receipts than proceed to do great work!!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received an associates degree in applied sciences from PVCC in 2014.
