- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
THE BOOKING PROCESS 1. The first step is setting up a 15-minute phone consult. A phone consult gives us the opportunity to ask you questions about what you are looking for in a photographer, discuss your budget and just get to know you! It also gives you the chance to ask any questions you have and make you feel more comfortable about booking a photographer. We will provide you with all of the contact information so you may contact us at any time if you think of ANY questions. We are here for you! 2. If you are interested in moving forward after the phone consult, we will send you a contract to e-sign along with an invoice for a deposit to reserve your date for photography services. The deposit is 20% of the total price. This would go towards the total quoted amount and the remainder would be due the day of the wedding with either cash, check or Venmo. 3. Once we receive a signed contract and an invoice, we will send you a photography questionnaire. It will be similar to the phone consult but have a few other important questions that will help us to prepare for your photoshoot. This is super important and something that separates us from other photographers. 4. If you selected a wedding package with a free engagement session, we will also be communicating to decide on a date, time and location. Don't worry, we will help you pick the best location and the best time to get that stunning golden hour glow in your photos! WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY - HOW THE DAY OF WILL GO (please note that this varies depending on your wedding day and how many hours of coverage you paid for) 1. I will arrive with my second photographer (my husband, Zack) a few hours prior to the ceremony start time. I will photograph you and your bridesmaids getting ready while my husband photographs the groomsmen getting ready! 2. Any extra time in-between will be used to capture additional detail shots as well as to scout beautiful spots to take couples portraits and family portraits following the ceremony. 3. We will photograph the ceremony together. 4. Once the ceremony has ended, we will gather bridesmaids, groomsmen and family members for family and bridal party portraits. Once family and bridal portraits are completed, we will steal you two away to do some newlywed portraits! These are super fun and give you two the chance to have some alone time after the ceremony. I will be sure to look up what time golden-hour is on that specific day so that we have the best soft lighting. 5. We will then return to the reception to capture photos throughout the night (speeches, dances, cake cutting, grand exit, etc.). If you need help planning the timeline at all please let us know, we are more than willing to provide help in any way that we can! We want to make sure you focus on enjoying your wedding day rather than worrying about a timeline! FOLLOWING THE WEDDING DAY 1. We will begin professionally retouching each photo by hand. Once the photos have been retouched, we will email you all the photos in a custom online gallery. 2. You will receive the gallery of photos within 4-8 weeks of your wedding date depending on the hours of coverage. Don't worry I will send you a couple of sneak previews the day after so you have something to show friends/family or to post on social media! I know this seems like a super long time but I want to make sure we take the time to retouch all photos to look their very best. I had to wait 3 months for my photos and that was a little too long for me haha so I have tried to shorten that time some. 3. At the same time that I send out your gallery link, I will put in an order for your custom glass flash drive with your photos! (if this is included with your purchased package). This will be mailed to your home as soon as it is all packaged up and ready to go!
