New Generation knocked my project out of the park. I needed concrete cut out, the earth dug out below it, and repoured to a different thickness to install a car lift. I called them on a Friday afternoon, they got me a quote the same day, and it was a very fair price. They stayed in contact with me between the day of the quote and when they started my project. The guys showed up on time and got right to work. Every person from the company that I interacted with was friendly and professional, and they did a great job cutting out the old concrete and setting up for a whole new pour with rebar included. Then made sure the finish on the new concrete was what I wanted. I will be using them again for other projects in the future. If anyone is looking for an actual honest company to deal with to get concrete work done, stop your search and call Antoine.

Due to personal injury and two surgeries, this review is long overdue and needed to be written. My wife and I live out in Smithfield, VA, and have had the roughest of time finding a concrete contractor that follows through with there promise. Unfortunately for us, we were taken advantage of by three of those contractors that serve the local area before finding New Generation Building and Concrete. The company is owned and operated by Antione Pope and his brother, along with some other amazing employees that just have that knack for concrete work. Antione is quick to respond to requests for work estimates. When it comes to scheduling, and of course if the weather cooperates, they are usually able to get the project started within a reasonable time line for the both of you. Pricing is right on mark with current market, though I believe Antione tries to help the customer keep costs down by buying only the material needed. No up selling. We had several different projects completed in 2025, including a project that required repair from a previous contractor and his below standard workmanship. We still have several more that we would like completed over the next couple of years, to include two separate driveways. My wife and I have found a true company of professionals that take great care and pride in their workmanship. But we also consider them friends of the family now. Please consider contacting this company if the need for concrete arises.

Mr. Pope and his team were awesome. I hired them for an extension to my driveway, a concrete pad for my trash cans and a concrete patio in my backyard. He got the permits and kept in touch until the rain held off long enough to start my job. He came out on a Sunday to form the areas and on Monday, concrete was poured and they didn't leave until everything was done and looking good. I will definitely hire them again for any future projects. A+++
