I was her student from 2014 when I just moved to the United States with no experience in English. Since I could not speak English, we started our lessons by reading easy children's books. As I made progress, Mrs. Cox gave higher level reading assignments and whenever there were words that I did not understand, she explained the meanings to me using simple words and gave me example sentences so I could understand. Now I'm fluent in the language so that I go to an university that trains airplane pilots where they require high English level. She is very kind hearted and caring, and even after I'm done taking her lessons, we still keep in touch and check on each other. If you're looking for a English teacher that not only care about your English level, but also cares about your life and career, I would definitely take her lessons. Good luck!

When I moved to the US in 2014 as a high school freshman, I couldn’t speak English at all, and really struggled in all of my classes. With her help, however, my English was significantly improved and I even got accepted into my dream school, the University of Virginia. I am now working at one of the best firms in the world. I must say that I wouldn’t be where I am today without her help and I cannot thank her enough for all of her support.

My price is 35.00 an hour and 20.00 for 30 minutes.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step in my process is to meet and discuss the student's needs and goals. The second step is to conduct an English proficiency test to evaluate their level. Thirdly, I develop a comprehensive curriculum tailored to each student. The last step is to schedule classes that will accommodate the student regardless of their time-zone.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
ESOL training and certificates throughout my tenure as an ESL instructor. Masters level courses in ESL - Regent University Bachelors of Arts - University of Rhode Island
