FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, the first thing I like to do is an initial consultation. During the consultation, I spend time getting to know the client(s) and finding out who they are, the type of services they are seeking, and finally how I can be helpful to them. After the initial consultation, I will draft a contract for consideration, typically with in 48 hours. As a planner, clients normally contact me at different points in their process of planning. The next step depends on where they are in the planning process. From this point, I am there until the event is complete.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and taken quite a few certified trainings on Event Planning.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been in the military for 18 years and it has always been my job to plan all holiday parties, picnics, and balls. I LOVE them. Additionally, outside of the military, I have planned several dinner parties and weddings. I absolutely LOVE planning weddings and just taking away the stress of the planning process on the brides, grooms, and close family members.
