Yosif does excellent work and is proud of it! He is very detailed and a man of his word. He put a tile floor in whole of our basement and renewed our kitchen completely. He is also pleasant to have around!

Yosif from Smart House Remodeling installed a shower door that I had purchased from Home Depot. The price was competitive with the other Thumbtack bids, but the deciding factor was that Yosif was willing to do the work on this small project during the weekend. I didn't have to be out from work. It did take a little longer than I expected to get the door installed. But this was because the door's design made it difficult to get the door to hang correctly on the pivot hinges This problem was the door's design rather than Yosif's work. I really appreciate the fact that he worked until he got the door installed correctly. If I ever have other home improvement projects, I would definitely consider using Smart House Remodeling again.

Yosif combined an existing bathroom and two closets to make a larger, completely remodeled bathroom. This project required closing off an existing door and removing a short wall. He worked with us to come up with three different remodeling options, and after we chose the option we liked best he completely demolished the 1941-era existing bathroom, removed the debris, and completed the installation of the new bathroom, including new flooring, tiled walls, a walk-in shower, a tub, a double vanity, commode, and medicine cabinets. He covered over the unwanted doorway and painted the new bathroom. In some cases, he worked with other technicians when needed. He also arranged for frameless glass doors to be installed as a shower surround. The result is truly stunning! It exceeds our highest expectations. Yosif's tile work is meticulous. He laid the marble floor tile in a beautiful herringbone pattern and created custom-designed niches in the shower and tub areas. Everything, from the lighting to the flooring to the smallest detail, was handled with professionalism and skill. Yosif completed the work to the highest standards, and we are delighted to recommend him.

Yosif was amazing and extremely professional. I was worried about a contractor leaving a mess but he cleaned up after himself and laid paper on the floors to protect them. His work ethic was very impressive. The tile backsplash we had installed was hexagon shaped small tiles that made the job very conplex and therefore, installation took a bit longer than anticipated. However, Yosif never rushed the job, instead he took his time to lay each tile perfectly, even though that meant he had to come back an extra day to finish. I am so satisfied with his work! Any other contractor could have rushed to get the tiles laid but Yosif took his time even though it meant staying longer to finish the job.
