Introduction
Over the last 12 years, Faraji Rosenthall has established himself as one Northern Virginia's premier defense attorneys. His dominance in the courtroom has been based upon a solid educational foundation from the highly rated Georgetown University School of Law. He then supported that education with a successful and decorated career as a Prosecutor in Fairfax County to begin his legal career. As a former prosecutor, he observed exactly how the system worked, how police would prepare evidence and how the Commonwealth Attorneys (Prosecutors) think and handle trials. When someone is charged with a crime, their freedom is literally at stake. Effective lawyering can mean the difference between someone leaving court as a freeman or remaining as a prisoner. There is no greater compliment than when someone hires me, because it means they are literally relying on me to make sure they get the best result in court. I take that as both an honor and a huge responsibility. I thoroughly enjoy helping clients manage their way through a confusing and unjust system. It is impossibly rewarding to walk out of court having helping an innocent client accomplish a not guilty verdict.

Faraji was very informative for the northern VA Area and knows his work really well. He was also very responsive and in touch with all details big or small on my traffic violation case. Instead of a reckless driving he was able to convince the judge to instead do a failure to obey traffic sign ticket. This helped me avoid a larger find & also avoided points on my driving record. Would highly recommend for any traffic or driving tickets. He was also very friendly and honest.

Mr. Rosenthall accommodates to individual situations and provides multiple options to fight/resolve your case. He thoroughly explains the legality of the matter and makes recommendations on the way the case should be approached. He spent a great deal of time walking me through my case and was quick to respond for the most part.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Almost all cases are billed on a flat fee basis. That, as opposed to an hourly fee, means that you will pay one set price for the entire case from beginning to end. You will know that fee up-front. Whether the case gets continued multiple times or ends up taking several days, you will never pay anything more than the original quoted fee.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Almost all client relationships start with a free consultation. This can either be done in person, over the phone or via email depending on the clients preference. Criminal law is not a one size fits all offering. Everything from pricing to potential outcomes will depend on the facts of your case. After that consultation, I will describe in detail my initial strategy for defending your case. I will also describe the strengths and weaknesses of the potential evidence. Finally, I will provide an exact quote for my services.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I earned my law degree from Georgetown University. I worked for a judge in the Fairfax County Circuit while in Law School. My first law job was in the Prosecutor's Office in Fairfax County where I tried all types of criminal cases for 4 years. I continually receive education in criminal law throughout the year to stay abreast of changes in the law.
