- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing varies on the service request and is not at a fixed hourly rate. Certain services will have cheaper hourly rates if multiple hours are booked. For any onsite activity including photography lessons, all service requests are subjected to travel fees based solely on mileage. I do not charge exorbitant travel fees or any other added fees. Credit card transactions are subjected to a 3% percent processing fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Upon initial contact, I like to get on a call and walk through the needs of my clients and most importantly to build a solid relationship. I firmly believe that this type of consulting and introductory process translates to a better experience for both myself and the client. Trust me, stress and discomfort shows in photos!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
After taking a digital photography course, I quickly developed my skillset and jumped into the professional world. Prior to taking my own clients, I worked under a professional in the wedding industry as an understudy and assistant. There I learned the business as well as the caliber of professional photography.
