FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Back when I was a college professor, the way we learned about new topics was to volunteer to teach them. In that vein, I now teach photography in the Adult Education Program of Arlington Public Schools. I also take photography workshops and short courses from time to time.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I retired from government service, I needed to do something to pay for my equipment (p[photography is an expensive hobby), keep myself busy, meet interesting people and have fun. Turning my longtime passion for photography into a small business has enabled me to achieve these goals.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common jobs are coorporate headshots (I have a headshot special--$80.00) and maternity sessions (special on that as well--$100.00 when you are expecting and $40.00 to photograph the little one when he/she arrives. In addition I shoot corporate events and small weddings.
