Introduction: The 40+ years of industry experience in the Northern Virginia area, and the fact that we still operate in said area, says a lot. We maintain integrity in our relationships and in work performed. We consider it a privilege and a pleasure to serve our contractors and public while doing what we love! We enjoy the EASE of doing the work because we've been doing it so long. We enjoy the RAPPORT between the workers who have been with the company since it's inception, and for almost as long as I've been in the trade (40+ years). And we have a pool of resources in those who have moved on should we need to add to our employee load for large projects! We attribute this to mutual respect. Sometimes, a job will require more CREATIVITY than the norm. This is the fun part! Challenges are always welcome. This expands our knowledge base and makes us even better at what we do!

The work was started right away, within a couple of days. My job was done quickly. The workers were very polite and friendly and the work was completed in less than a week. My sidewalk and brick stairs look beautiful. Job well done. I would use them again and would recommend to anyone.

Kelvin was extremely prompt in responding to my initial request to come out and discuss my concrete needs. Price quoted for excavation and concrete was excellent! Less than others who provided me a quote. He also gave me a military discount! Him and his crew finished the job in one day, including forms removed and clean-up. First off let me start by saying the whole process from start to finish was great! I needed this job done quickly and from the first time Mr. Durante came to my house to do a estimate until the day the job was completed it was a total of only 6 days. From the first conversation I had with him and throughout the project he was very professional. On the day of the project he and his crew were on time ready to work, his crew was very polite and best of all they cleaned everything up once they were done as if they weren't even here, except of course for the beautiful 25'x 25' slab they laid down. I will definitely be giving Mr. Durante's name to anyone I know that needs any concrete work done.

Our experience with Kelvin was awesome. We decided to go with a concrete patio instead of other options. He was super helpful throughout the whole process leading up to the actual job. He made sure we understood what the project meant for our house (in terms being up to code), what he could do to protect our wooden fence, and how we could design it. He was very thoughtful in everything he did and accounted for everything he would need to address with the new patio, including getting us a new downspout connector. We also really liked that Kelvin was actually onsite with his team, and not just a sales-person like every other company we've worked with - It was very assuring for us because we were able to ask questions real-time. In the end, we love the finished product and would recommend Kelvin to anyone!

My pricing system varies according to the nature and scope of work to be performed.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will first view the job and prepare an estimate based on materials and labor. Then, I will email or fax the estimate to the customer. If they accept, we will set a time to review and sign the proposal. A time will be set to perform the work. Upon acceptable completion of the work, final payment will be due.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have thirty + years of on-the-job experience.
