Unlimited Resources renovated my two upstairs bathrooms and they did a great job. They helped me with the design process and my bathrooms are beautiful. They came on time, were clean and professional. I will definitely use them in the future.
Yosif from Smart House Remodeling installed a shower door that I had purchased from Home Depot. The price was competitive with the other Thumbtack bids, but the deciding factor was that Yosif was willing to do the work on this small project during the weekend. I didn't have to be out from work. It did take a little longer than I expected to get the door installed. But this was because the door's design made it difficult to get the door to hang correctly on the pivot hinges This problem was the door's design rather than Yosif's work. I really appreciate the fact that he worked until he got the door installed correctly. If I ever have other home improvement projects, I would definitely consider using Smart House Remodeling again.
I highly recommend the design services provided by Trait Interior’s Kelley Rucker. Decorating can be stressful, but Kelley made it as stress free as possible with her down-to-earth approach, positive outlook, up-beat personality, eager nature, and responsive communication. Kelley is one of the kindest people I have had the pleasure of knowing. She treated me like a friend instead of a client. She looked out for me every step of the way and had my best interest at heart during our consultation, shopping trips, and design implementation. Kelley listened intently, did her research, and took immediate action. She was ready to hit the ground running! It was refreshing that Kelley came up with a plan to tackle my design issues, sent me a course of action, and delivered. She even drove me around town during the shopping sessions and used her creative thinking and determination to overfill her car with large shopping items. She was right there at the store taking items apart and putting them back together at my home. Kelley was also accommodating and generous with her time and suggestions. Additionally, she is cost conscious and value oriented. If you have a budget, she will stick to it! Kelley loves what she does and her excitement for her work is infectious. No one else I spoke with showed the same kind of enthusiasm for my project as Kelley did. It’s important to feel like you are a priority when you want to accomplish a project, and Kelley made me a priority. I believe Kelley offers free phone and in home consultations, so you have nothing to lose by giving her a call.
I have worked with Robert Chambers for the past 14 years. He has completed multiple home renovation (both large and medium) projects for our family. These are just a few words to describe Bob: 1) Meticulous in Detail (almost to a fault) 2) Trustworthy 3) Professional 4) Understands various construction methodologies /architecture 5) Principled
I have worked with Loudoun Interiors on both residential and commercial projects. I have always been more then please. Laurie has great ideas and can find very unique pieces.
Amy was fantastic to work with! She listened to design ideas from my husband and me and was able to present us with options to bring together our differing views into a cohesive stylish design that fit our budget. From ordering through delivery and styling, Amy made the process so easy for us!! We couldn't be happier with the result and highly recommend Eliza&Edison to anyone looking for design help!
I was thrilled with Primrose Interior Design. I recently moved and was overwhelmed with the placement/lighting of my art collection as well as selecting new furniture that reflected my esthetic. Rose listened, found selections for me that I can't believe she found and did it on budget. I had so much fun working with Rose that I'm looking for other projects to bring to her.
Max & Donna helped my husband and me to make our decorating dreams come true. I am unable to go out and shop, etc. so it was a wonderful blessing to have them bring it all to us! They even made our dream of a downstairs "Great Room" happen! From concrete floors and 2 x 4 studs in the walls to beautiful tile floors, a stack stone fireplace and gorgeous window treatments -- well the list just goes on and this is now our favorite "retreat". Donna & Max worked closely with all their sources/resources to make things happen within budget, on time, what more could you possibly ask for? Thank you so very much Donna & Max for making our home such a delight to us!
Signature Design Interiors staged my home in One Loudoun and did an amazing job! They brought in furnishings, art, area rugs, linens, and accessories to highlight my home's best features. The turnaround time between requesting their help and the completed project was just a couple of days. I highly recommend the team at Signature Design Interiors for staging as well as decorating and remodeling. They are top notch!
Absolutely loved MagnifiqueHomes! I moved to Virginia and needed to downsize quite a bit, moving into a much smaller place. Maud was great at utilizing the small space I had to maximum efficiency, making it feel like a home at the same time. She kept me involved in every step -- making it a truly enjoyable experience. I couldn't be happier with this, my first interior design experience. I would definitely recommend MagnifiqueHomes without hesitation.
Karen listened and understood my overall concept. She was always responsive to my concerns as they arose. Very helpful in obtaining materials and contractors to complete the design project. People I could trust and will use again. Overall wonderful experience and will use her again on other future projects.
enjoyed working with Sharon for a lot of reasons. First off I found her very easy to work with. As soon as I started talking with her got a reassuring sense that she would be reliable and professional, and she was. She is highly organized and delivered concepts well within the agreed upon time frame. She responded quickly to emails and is an excellent communicator. Additionally I found that Sharon listened carefully to everything I said and wrote in emails and created her design concepts to address all the things that came up. Here efforts were clearly very personalized to the specific goals I was trying to achieve with the redesign of my medical office reception area. Her concepts were well thought out and demonstrate a talent for color, themes, and accessories that I simply could never have come up with on my own. She was also very responsive to feedback on her concepts, and adapted accordingly. But she was not a "yes-man" either. She stood her ground on things she felt were important. In summary I highly recommend Sharon for anyone considering design services. While I hired her for a small business, her skills easily translate to a home setting. I would definitely hire Sharon again.
Sophisticated. Comfortable. Beautiful. Unique. That’s the magic that Arsheen brought to my living room and I am incredibly grateful for her hard work and vision for making it happen. I was looking at my living room last spring and wondering, for what seemed liked the 1000th time whether it would ever look like a cohesive space. My husband and I had purchased our home at the end of 2013, and I’d always intended to get new furniture and make over the space. But between a wedding, pregnancy, new baby and our hectic work schedules (and life), the only thing I’d managed to do is get the downstairs painted. I finally accepted that I needed some help, and put out a call for designers on Thumbtack. I had several replies, but Arsheen’s pitch was the one that appealed to me due to her unique background (architect originally from India), portfolio with some updated midcentury modern touches and professional demeanor. When Arsheen and I got started, I filled out a questionnaire and she asked me at what I wanted. I told her something like: “I love midcentury modern..but not all of it..just Swedish midcentury modern. I need sleek lines. Plus Africa, India and Mexico to reflect my travels. And lots of colors—orange, blue, purple—but not too much color. And pictures of my family. And I hate sectionals but you can show me some anyway as long as they’re not made of leather. And I would like to have a space for our little one’s toys without said toys dominating the entire room.” (Note: I’m probably forgetting some of my many requests here. I have to be honest, had I heard that seemingly contradictory laundry list of requests from a client, I would have run for the hills! But that’s why I’m not an interior designer.) To her credit, Arsheen didn’t flinch. She delivered a couple of different floor plans that made great use the space, brought in (modern) midcentury flair and gave me the rich colors I was asking for without it being over the top. To my surprise, I quickly realized that the sectional she had proposed was a much better fit for the space and my current lifestyle. (Most importantly, it wasn’t leather!) After a number of iterations, we settled on a design that had neutral, solid colored accent chairs (dark blue) but brought in more colors (orange, more blues) without going over the top. The lines of sectional were midcentury-inspired, and she also brought those touches in with the legs of sectional, the chairs, and my unique coffee table. The rug and Roman shades also have Indian-inspired designs on them. It’s also worth mentioning the fixtures and related elements. While I was a little doubtful at first, she swapped out the original fan for a sleek and modern one. Honestly, it’s easily the fixture with the greatest benefit/cost ratio—it has completely opened up the room. She also recommended a new fireplace mantle and creating a new fireplace frame. I really couldn’t figure out what it was going to look like, even with the drawing, but I just went with it, and it looks amazing. It’s so much more modern than the original. Even my handyman was surprised at the difference those two additions made. (Note: Arsheen works with a wide variety of vendors, but is more than willing to work with your preferred vendors. If we had an issue with any vendor, Arsheen worked overtime to make sure it was corrected as soon as possible.) When the time came to put everything together, I was nervous. How would all of the great elements come together? Well, I need not have worried. Arsheen managed to pull together all of the things that I mentioned above (the new), plus photos and momentoes from my travels to Mexico, Ghana, India and other countries, and a gallery wall of family portraits. And it’s everything I could have wanted. It’s gorgeous and sophisticated, yet, I still feel comfortable flopping down in front of my newly wall-mounted television and doing my hair. My husband was impressed by the great ‘blend of form and function’ and my notoriously picky family and friends have raved about the design. Our little one has a toy trunk (courtesy of Target!) that keeps all of the toys organized and out of the way. And now I’m happy and proud to have people come to visit. Arsheen doesn’t just create rooms, she creates experiences for you to enjoy if you place your trust in her. I did, and I’m so glad I took the leap. Hire her—you won’t regret it.
I could not have had a better experience than working with the Creative Reflections Design Team! The professionalism and organization from start to finish was impeccable! Whenever doing projects like these I always expect some sort of unforeseen issue to arise but the process was seamless with Creative Reflections. I'm a busy professional with little free time. I knew how I wanted my bedroom to feel, and chose some colors to start with, but Creative Reflections did the rest. I spent a few minutes completing a well thought out questionnaire that asked all the questions I wouldn't have even thought of. Then a few short weeks later...BAM! I was in my dream bedroom, mouth agape, and drooling all over the little details incorporated into my Glam Caribbean Bedroom. I will definitely be setting up appointments for the rest of the rooms in my house! Thank you again, Creative Reflections!
My wife and I are looking to sell our home and need input and ideas that would help make our home more appealing to buyers. Willa from U Design Homes provided excellent ideas and concept the help us accomplish this task as well as not spend a ton of money on completing the task we needed. Will recommend her services to friends and family that may need it.
