My husband and I just purchased our first home two weeks ago and we had no ceiling light in the bedrooms. Normally my husband does the simple electrical jobs, but this was a little past his knowledge. We've not been in the area that long, so we went to thumbtack to find an electrical company. Richard answered right away and offered a free estimate that day. He explained everything very well and we hired him. He was able to come out the next day to install our ceiling fan. He was very thorough and took care of everything. Even cleaned debris off the carpet (That I'm 85% sure were already there...). With me knowing nothing about electric work, and my husband about to be deployed for a year, I am very happy we found out about Double Electrical. Also, we had given him a very little extra for the amazing work, but didn't mention it, and he came back because he thought we accidentally over paid. It was very refreshing having someone who was honest. We will be hiring him again in the very near future.

10 years In the electrical field and formal education with Associated Builders and Contractors to receive my journeyman electrician license. I am also OSHA certified.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I worked with some of the best contracting businesses in Hampton roads, they saw potential and put me through school, after many years I branched out and started my own business.
