FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is holistic. I don't have separate fees for editing, sitting fees, or travel expenses. My quote is all-encompassing in my travel, work, and editing of the photos. For work that is valued at over $400, I require a deposit before the shoot. This is to make sure the client is committed when I do my planning and detail work before the photos are taken. I do offer referral discounts, email me for more information!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to know the occasion for the photos. It helps my process if I have more than just "wedding" or "portrait." To authentically capture the personality and mood of my subject, I like to know a bit about them. For larger jobs, like events, weddings, or parties, I prefer to meet my clients face-to-face to go over the details and have time for myself and them to ask questions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am entirely self-taught. My grandfather gave me an old camera over four years ago, and I've been learning ever since. I've read many books and consulted countless professionals to cull as much information as possible.
